Michelle Cyca

Michelle Cyca is an investigative journalist and essayist from Vancouver. She is a senior editor with The Narwhal and a contributing writer to The Walrus, and her work has appeared in Maclean’s, Chatelaine, The Globe and Mail and The Guardian. Her Maclean’s feature, The Curious Case of Gina Adams, won a National Magazine Award for investigative journalism in 2023, and she also won a 2024 National Magazine Award for best column. She is an adjunct professor of journalism at the University of British Columbia.
