THE FUNERAL OF A CANADIAN ICON

Ted Rogers' Funeral

Hundreds gathered in Toronto on Tuesday to pay their respects to media giant Ted Rogers, the founder and CEO of Rogers Communications Inc., who died last week at his home at the age of 75. Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Toronto Mayor David Miller, and Brian Mulroney were a few of the Canadian dignitaries who attended the service at St. James Cathedral. “He was the finest man I have ever known or will probably ever know,” said his son, Edward. Ted is survived by his wife, Loretta, four children, and four grandchildren.
