In the heart of the Prairies, the Levene Graduate School of Business executive MBA program attracts top-level managers from a wide range of professional backgrounds.

It’s an intensive program that spans 18 months, covering 12 modules in topics such as accounting, negotiation, marketing and finance. Participants are required to complete two courses every two weeks, a model designed to make it easier to fit schoolwork around career and personal commitments. Class sessions are held on-site but are only bi-monthly, meaning that during the fall and winter semesters, when roads can be at their worst, students are only required to travel to Regina six times. Students enjoy a break through the summer.

In addition to classes, students attend a four-day workshop, two one-week courses and participate in a two-week international study tour, examining actual business cases and acting as consultants on pressing business matters for local organizations. Past destinations have included France, Belgium, Germany, Japan and Mexico.

The culmination of the program is a capstone project—a major research paper produced with guidance from a faculty adviser. At the end of the program, participants have the opportunity to present their papers to an assembly of their peers, faculty and invited guests, and to field questions from the audience.
