US News and World Report’s Paper Trail blog noted a story which is quickly developing in American.

Two retired New York City detectives believe that around 40 drowning of college age males may be the work of a group of serial killers.

There isn’t much to actually link the numerous drownings which occurred in numerous states.

All of the drownings involved were ruled accidental except one.

The detectives claim they have found a smiley face symbol at the scenes where they believe the bodies were thrown into the waterways the bodies were found. They believe this is the evidence linking the crimes.
