Laurier’s student newspaper is using the blog format to complement their traditional coverage of student union elections at the 12,000 student campus.
This is exactly how a student newspaper should be using the series of tubes.
The Cord Weekly has been one of the strongest student papers this year, and is one of the few I do not miss. I especially enjoy when they cover an issue in their print edition Wednesday and the local "mainstream" newspaper re-writes it for Saturday.
