I’m confused

During my tour of the University of Western Ontario, I noticed a few campaign posters for Rick Telfer. Telfer is running for President of the University of Western Ontario Society of Graduate Students.

I was initially confused cause I thought he was Executive Director of the University of Toronto Students’ Union. I did not think you could do both, but apparently, one can.

(For the record, my contacts in the Toronto student press say Telfer is a decent person. When a student newspaper misinterpreted the UTSU financial statements, Telfer professionally discussed the matter with them.)

Update: I have to note that he does have a clear record of success on the tuition front. That’s a rarity for a student leader, normally, it is not clear what effect student leaders have on tuition.
