Stanford University has announced that students from families with incomes below $100,000 will no long pay tuition - they will be getting a free ride. Under $60,000 - room and board are free as well.

Maybe free tuition will help Stanford attract more intelligent students. Reading their campus paper, it shouldn’t be too hard to improve on the current stock.

I’m all for showing school spirit – but I doubt the school had blood red in mind when it decided on the team colour.

This quote from a freshman music student sums up watching the spectacle: “It was kind of like everyone was watching it like a train wreck about to happen.”
