Scientist requests retraction from Nature

A Duke University cancer scientist is requesting that the journal Nature retract one of his papers on the grounds that some of the test results cannot be duplicated. The request comes after the research of Duke associate professor Anil Potti, the paper’s coauthor, came into question. Potti resigned his post today, and clinical trials based on his breast cancer research have been closed.
