Three student teachers in B.C. are facing sex charges involving high school students in separate cases in Abbotsford and Surrey.

Twenty-two-year-old Brian William Davis was arrested Thursday on one count of sexual interference over a relationship with a 15-year-old student in Abbotsford. Police say he befriended the girl last spring and the relationship continued outside school hours both in person and over the Internet.

In a separate case, Surrey RCMP say 24-year-old student teacher Michael Herrera faces three sex charges after allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with a female student. Police say they began investigating after the student made a complaint in May.

In June, another student teacher in Abbotsford, 28-year-old Corey Hamade, was charged over a relationship with a 15-year-old girl that included online chats using a web camera.
