TVOntario upgrading internet video player

This is exciting news for those of us who don’t watch television, preferring to get our programming over the tubes.

TVOntario, the province’s publicly funded broadcaster, will be using Brightcove’s internet platform to offer better video-on-demand options. This according to a news release sent out this morning.

I’m a huge fan of The Agenda (shameless plug: I really want to get on the show at some point) and hope TVO will make use of embedding options to allow wider-distribution of the show.
