UCalgary offers course in the Beatles
Philosophy of the fab four necessary for understanding 60s culture
With an eye to examining 1960s culture, the University of Calgary is offering a 10-week course on the Beatles. James Istvanffy who is teaching the course says that a philosophical study of Beatles’ lyrics are needed to understand the upheaval of the era. He would like to see similar courses offered on the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. The class starts Jan 28.
