On Campus

York gets it…

Attempts at censorship backfire for York Federation of Students.

York University’s vice-president students says, in a letter to the National Post, that York University considers the actions of the York Federation of Students in cancelling a debate last Thursday "regrettable."

Robert Tiffin says that York’s administration is working to arrange a suitable venue within university controlled space on campus for a debate.

The York Federation of Students just lost another battle – their attempts to stifle debate are merely going to result in more people attending the eventual debate.

Free speech prevails.
