Fitness tax credit
On April 3, while campaigning in Ottawa, Stephen Harper promised to bring in a $500 Fitness Tax Credit for adults, and to double the existing Children’s Fitness Tax Credit from $500 to $1000. But, as with the Family Tax Cut, the Fitness Tax Credit would not be implemented until the budget is balanced.
