Alanis Morissette marries rapper Souleye
The Canadian-born rock singer twitters about nuptials that happened in May
Alanis Morissette, 36, and the rapper Souleye, 30, (real name: Mario Treadway) married in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles on May 22. Morissette, who was previously engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds, confirmed the news via Twitter: "Hi guys! So happy to share with you that my man Souleye and I got married," she wrote. "We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other." The couple has been together since 2009. Hopefully, this union will not be met with any irony.
