Nearly 10 years after the September 11 attacks, terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden has been killed by covert U.S. forces operating in northwestern Pakistan. Bin Laden, who has been the world’s most wanted man since 9/11, had his body buried at sea, according to U.S. official. The attack on the al Qaeda’s leader’s compound in Abbottabad began Sunday with U.S. forces launching a helicopter-borne assault. Three other men were killed along with Bin Laden in a firefight that lasted 40 minutes. A woman, who may have been one of Bin Laden’s wives, was also killed.
