Speaking to reporters yesterday, the Blue Jays manager became the latest to dump on poor Roger Clemens, describing the suspected steroid freak in words that aren’t suitable for this family-friendly website. “He’s an a-----e himself,” Gaston says. “A complete a-----e. And I’ll say that loud, right in his face. It was all about him. Ain’t about nobody else but him.” Gaston, on his second go-around with the Jays, said his relationship with Clemens in the late ’90s was so strained that it almost came to blows. “One of us would have had an ass whuppin’ that day,” Gaston said. “It might have been me, but he still would have known I was there.”
