Bring on the UN observer teams

Motion before the House of Commons: That the House express its full and complete confidence in Elections Canada and the Commissioner of Canada Elections.

Vote result: Yeas 152; Nays 117. Tories all voted Nay.

This is unbelievable. Do the Tories have confidence that EC can run a fair election? If not, what happens if the government is brought down — do the Tories refuse to abide by the results? Is this precedented?
