John Furlong is calling on all Vancouver businesses to do their part to keep traffic to a minimum during the Olympic Games. His Top Ten suggestions for businesses include "mandated" vacations, shifted office hours (early starts and early finishes) and telecommuting; some businesses, he suggested, might even consider shutting down completely for the Games. "Yes, we can," he urged the city’s business elite, channelling Obamania at a luncheon at the Pan Pacific hotel today.
