With renewed talk of moving an American NHL franchise to Canada, the Prime Minister is expressing support for a seventh Canadian team. "I’d love another NHL team in Canada . . . particularly southern Ontario can support another team," Harper said from Prague, where he is meeting with the European Union. "But obviously I don’t want to comment on a specific application by a specific individual, that’s NHL business. In fact, I have even (mentioned) to a couple of NHL owners I think southern Ontario is ripe to support more than one NHL team, more than one NHL franchise."
