Jasey-Jay Anderson gets the gold

Snowboarding’s old man gets the win he wanted before retiring
By Maclean's

Father of two and the old man of the mountain at 34, Jasey-Jay Anderson, beat the field in men’s parallel giant slalom snowboarding to take gold. It was wet conditions with plenty of rain and fog at Cypress Mountain, as Anderson defeated Benjamin Karl of Austria. This was Anderson’s fourth Olympic appearance, and his last shot at a medal before retiring.
