New film to focus on a relationship between a man and a beaver puppet
Former Canadian Jim Carrey wants to play the lead in the movie The Beaver, an “offbeat dramady” that focuses on a relationship between a man and a beaver puppet he wears on his arm, reports the Hollywood Reporter. There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding Kyle Killen’s screenplay, which has been “lauded as some of the best (yet-to-be-produced) writing out there” and has drawn comparisons to Being John Malkovich and Lars and the Real Girl. Casting depends on who the director would be; names currently being floated include Jodie Foster.
