Joaquin Phoenix attacks a heckler

Ramping up his bizarre behaviour, Joaquin Phoenix had to be dragged away by security after he attacked an audience member in a Miami nightclub. The actor-turned-rapper stopped his show in the early hours of Thursday morning after a heckler disturbed him. Phoenix screamed several insults before jumping into the audience and starting a brawl. Security broke it up and escorted Phoenix off through the wings. The Oscar nominee was supposed to begin his performance at 10 pm, but didn’t show up until 2 am, then mumbled his way through a rap. The whole event was filmed by Casey Affleck, who is making a documentary—possibly a mockumentary—about the bearded actor and his strange antics.
