The Washington Post profiles Rebiya Kadeer, the 63-year-old Uighur woman, now in exile in the United States, whom China accuses of orchestrating the deadly riots that killed more than 150 people in the Chinese city of Urumqi this week. Other Uighur exiles call her the mother of their movement. China’s Communist Party propaganda department provides its own take on Kadeer via the Xinhua News Agency.
