Newsweek’s stunt casting

After a disastrous redesign, the magazine will have its first guest editor in its 76-year history

Newsweek is in big trouble. The recent redesign has confused pundits and readers alike (the NY Post reported this week that an Obama cover sold only 2,500 copies at Barnes and Noble stores across the US.) But perhaps the surest sign that things are getting desperate is this: Stephen Colbert will “guest edit” an upcoming issue.
