Nixon’s Ambition
So I went with Nixonland. Very clever so far, putting a lot of familiar material through a nice interpretive lens. I liked this:
They stayed up half the night talking. Nixon told Garment he would do anything, make any sacrifice, to get where he wanted to go. "Anything," he said, "except see a shrink."
