Spokesperson denies reports that U.S. will reject pipeline project today
U.S. officials denied that the U.S. State Department would announce a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline on Wednesday, despite several media reports that had anticipated such a decision, the CBC reports. Several media outlets has said that the U.S. would reject TransCanada’s current application to build the pipeline today. However, a State Department spokesperson allegedly said there is no decision to be announced "now, or from this podium."
