Company that produces Sesame Street lays off 1/5 of staff
Sesame Workshop, which produces Sesame Street, has announced that it’s laying off one-fifth of its employees. The non-profit company depends on donations from rich people and foundations, and in the current economy, rich people don’t have as much money to give as they used to. This will have no effect on the quality of Sesame Street, except for the upcoming episode where Big Bird tells Snuffleupagus he’s fired.
