On Tuesday, after finishing her nine-day tour of Canada, the Queen will fly to New York City to address the General Assembly of the United Nations. She will represent all 16 nations that claim Her Majesty as their head of state. It will be her first speech to the UN in 43 years. The last time she went, in 1957, was also after finishing a tour of Canada, her northern realm. Even for cynical seen-everything New Yorkers, the visit is a cause for everyone to brush up on their royal etiquette.
