Obama needs a lesson in seal hunting
Liberal MP wants the PM to give him one
Scott Simms is calling on Stephen Harper to educate Barack Obama about the Canadian seal hunt. A recently discovered letter shows that in 2006, Obama, then a senator, expressed his objection to the hunt. Simms, from Newfoundland, says Obama needs to be corrected and only Harper has the access necessary to enlighten him. "If Mr. Harper wants to stand up for all Canadians, like he says he will do, now’s a good time to call the president, and give him our opinion and defend the sealers of the East Coast of this country," Simms says.
