Sarkozy’s ’bored’ without work, friends report

While not exactly news, the Daily Telegraph reports that three weeks out of office and Nicolas Sarkozy is "bored” out of his tree.

The British paper cites Le Journal du Dimanche which quotes friends observing that Sarkozy has no off button. They say the former president has spent his post-election days “on the phone to his former ministers, collaborators, and even MPs on the campaign trail."

Another friend told the newspaper: "He’s not in any way depressed, just bored.”

Soon enough he and his family will move on to the Riviera for the summer. For now though, seems he’s just killing time in Paris.
