Karlheinz Schreiber, the German-Canadian businessman embroiled in the Oliphant Commission, had his latest attempt to avoid extradition to Germany thwarted by the Ontario Court of Appeal. Schreiber was first charged with tax evasion, fraud and bribery in Germany in 2004.
