Anything with Obama on it is flying off the shelves
"When Americans want to express their excitement, they turn to merchandising," says a Washington lawyer sporting an Obama T-shirt. Judging by the mind-boggling array of items featuring the president-elect, Americans appear to be mighty excited about the inauguration. From big-name advertisers using the words "hope" and "change" to tote bags, hot sauce, toilet paper and even sex toys featuring Obama’s likeness, merchandisers are successfully hocking just about anything Obama these days. An Obama White House, it appears, is a stimulus package in itself.
