The National Gallery of Canada was the site for a screening of the Robert Lantos-produced Holocaust film Fugitive Pieces, based on the novel by Anne Michaels. The film’s star, Rade Serbedzija, poses with Heritage Minister Josée Verner and Lantos (right).

Lantos was on the same water polo team as Jack Layton at McGill University.

Tory MPs in attendance included Jason Kenney and Sylvie Boucher.

Casual attendees present included Liberal MP Tina Keeper’s aide Richard Hundt.
