Six Emmy nominees are better than five

The Academy makes the change to show more “inclusiveness”

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced that from now on, the major categories (the awards for acting and best overall shows) will have six nominees rather than the traditional five. The Academy president says that this will be fairer to shows that almost made the cut last year, and show more "inclusiveness."  Considering how few successful shows there are at the moment, it might have made more sense to have fewer nominees, not more. But on the bright side, this will increase the number of Best Supporting Actor nominees who can undeservedly lose to Jeremy Piven from Entourge.
