Terrorists = Comedians

If you aren’t reading Laura Drake’s blog of the Momin Khawaja trial, you are missing the best comedy writing in Canada (WHOOPS: ASIDE FROM FESCHUK).

The trial of Momin Khawaja heard evidence today from British authorities, collected while Khawaja was in London visiting with Omar Kyham and Jawad Ackbar, ringleaders of the plot to blow up a London nightclub.

An excerpt from the extensive MI-5 audio surveillance that included probes in Omar Khyam’s vehicle and flat as well as Jawad Akbar’s flat:

Jawad Akbar: "Bruv, just before we do the thing, you don’t think this place is bugged, do you?

Omar Khyam: "No, I don’t it’s bugged, bruv, at all. I don’t even think the car’s bugged."
