The feather skirt

To help raise money for a new building, the Ottawa Art Gallery held an elegant fundraiser at the Museum of Civilization. The guest speaker was Daniel Pink, a former chief speechwriter to Al Gore while the now-environmental crusader was vice-president. Pink is seen here with Don Newman’s wife Shannon Day-Newman, who is on the board of the gallery.

The event patron was the Right Honorable Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of Canada.
