We demand in-flight showers!

Emirates Airline took possession of its first double-decker Airbus A380 this week. The big news? The first-class washrooms are equipped with showers.... And it’s about time we say!  For too long, first-class passengers have been forced to suffer through long flights, with only enough leg room to lay down in a space no bigger than a single bed. They’ve been served little more than champagne, hot towels, and three-course meals. Enough is enough! Airlines need to get serious about service and on-board spas are an important first step. Good work Emirates.  Let this be a warning to airlines everywhere.  Showers for all! 

On a serious note, the added weight of all that shower water is causing some problems. The airline is trying to shave several tons off the plane to make it more fuel efficient.
