Using Twitter in church can "remind people they aren’t worshipping alone"
The pastor of Next Level church in North Carolina is encouraging his congregation to incorporate technology into their faith. Worshippers were invited to tweet during the Easter Sunday service—about St. Paul and the resurrection of Jesus Christ—as a way of sharing their religious experiences. Churches across the country are using web sites, blogs, and Twitter to explore and reinforce their members’ faith. So far, though, none of the messages sent to @God have been returned.
