What’s on the Queen’s new iPod?
Let’s hope Queen Elizabeth enjoys show tunes, because the iPod given to her by Barack Obama yesterday is crammed with them. An itemized account gathered by ABC News shows the playlist includes Liza Minnelli’s Cabaret, Carol Channing’s Diamond’s are a Girl’s Best Friend, Jennifer Holliday’s And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going and—in a nice symbolic gesture, Richard Burton singing Camelot. The Queen can also reminisce about her time in America with video downloads of footage from visits she made to the former British colony 1957 and 2007. Lest she forget who’s running the show now, the president thoughtfully included audio of his speech to the 2004 Democratic National Convention and his 2009 Inauguration Address.
