With signs emblazoned with the slogan Je Suis Charlie and a throng gathered in the historic Place de la République to show that they were unafraid of this attack on their soil, thousands of Parisians gathered to grieve and stand together for the 12 lives lost in a brazen killing at satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo‘s offices. Photographer Nick Kozak was on the scene.
