This edition of the Maclean’s Quiz, a diversion designed by Terrance Balazo to test your trivia skills, is all about Olympic history—its winners, its locations, its best stories. And while we usually get our Maclean’s Genius, Peter Dyakowski, to take the quiz to provide a benchmark score, Canadian football isn’t (yet) an Olympic sport. So instead, we asked Silken Laumann, a three-time medal-winning Olympic rower and former torchbearer, to take the Quiz.

How’d she do? “Time to brush up on my Olympic facts!” She’s being humble: She scored a very solid 77 per cent.
