
Greens are nocturnal
“They’re like bats,” said a grizzled reporter, grumbling over tonight’s grim schedule: whistle stops at 1:00, 4:30 and 8:30 a.m.
Elizabeth May’s campaign train was met by 60 Green supporters in on a dark platform in Saskatoon. (Despite the late hour, all had managed to dress colour-appropriate.) So not to wake the sleeping passengers, May moved the rally into the empty train station.
