Hey, look: Summer grab-bag column

In which your correspondent wanders cheerfully through three barely-connected topics and, to judge from the comment board, mightily upsets many readers by putting the words "Ignatieff" and "hiding" in close proximity. (Touchy, folks?) If you’re anything like me, you’ll find my penultimate factoid — about the rate at which the Liberal party burns through its leaders these days — fascinating and pointless in equal measure.
