JACK LAYTON TO MEET STEPHEN HARPER

Layton holds media availably after meeting with PM

OTTAWA – New Democrat Leader Jack Layton will meet with Prime Minister Stephen Harper today at 4:30 p.m. in the Prime Minister’s Centre Block office.

Mr. Layton and Mr. Harper are expected to speak about the upcoming parliamentary session and the instability in the global-economy crisis. Layton has already held meetings with the other leaders of the opposition.

Layton will meet with reporters in the foyer of the House of Commons following meeting at approximately 5:00 p.m.
