It’s not true that Michael Fortier spent $140,000 in taxpayer money to renovate an office the size of a bachelor apartment. No, he was really conducting an undercover operation to unmask reckless spending in the Parliamentary office-renovation branch. I’m pretty sure the cheesy stubble-beard was part of his disguise.
