Registered Third Parties: The gang’s all here!

Actually, I suspect this is just the beginning, but along with Danny Williams’ ABC Campaign, there are a few other interesting names on Elections Canada’s list of registered third parties – from old friends like the National Citizens Coalition to Kevin Grandia, climate change evangelist and manager of the DeSmog Blog. Also throwing their respective hats in the ring: Les Sans-Chemise, a Quebec-based group that fights for the rights of unemployed workers, and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada, most recently seen taking on the government over food safety after Canadian Food Inspection Agency scientist Luc Pomarleau was fired after passing on a not-actually-secret report on proposed cuts to the agency’s budget.
