There can never be too many mall cops

In his"What is it with mall cops suddenly?" piece in our current issue, Brian D. Johnson’s eye for everything worth noticing in movies is, as always, unerring. But after-school cartoons are, it would seem, another matter. What, no mention of Ron, the hard-boiled, ex-soldier, rent-a-cop from the mall-centred animated series 6teen? Ron’s homage to Christopher Walken’s "Weapon of Choice" dance routine alone should make him impossible to ignore.
