They school them young, those Conservatives
Here at the Telus Convention Centre, four photojournalism students from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology--SAIT to you and me--were lucky enough to gain entry to the party for a little shutterbugging.
But not without first getting a little talking to from the folks at the Conservative Party of Canada, famous for keeping the students’ adult peers on a short lease. We don’t normally allow student journalists into these events, said a woman from Team Harper, who added she hoped they would create no "turbulence" during the proceedings. Turbulence?
Train them early--for photojournalism under a Conservative regime or as Air Canada employees. Either/or.
