The Globe’s Kelly Nestruck explores the very different tone of the French- and English-language National Arts Centre theatre seasons about to begin. Both companies’ artistic directors, Wajdi Mouawad and Peter Hinton, were audacious hires; this season’s program suggests the selection of Mouawad is paying off, while Hinton’s tenure is starting to shimmy. But yeah, I’m looking forward to The Drowsy Chaperone all the same.
