    CBS News — yes, the Katie Couric network — is doing absolutely dynamite coverage of Afghanistan all week. In the segment titled “Not Enough Troops?”, which you can find on this page, reporter David Martin shows some of the most harrowing battle footage I’ve seen, as he explains the Wanat massacre last year, which killed 9 U.S. soldiers. Wanat was supposed to be a lesson in how not to lose ground to the Taliban; this week, in a similar pair of attacks, 8 soldiers were killed.
